Reishi Supplements

Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) is known in traditional Chinese medicine as lingzhi, the “mushroom of immortality.” Funglia offers reishi in three formats — liquid drops, blackberry gummies, and multi-mushroom blends.

What reishi is

Reishi is a hard, woody, kidney-shaped bracket mushroom that grows on hardwood trees. Unlike culinary mushrooms, it is too tough to eat directly — it has traditionally been prepared as a decoction or tea, and in modern products it appears as an extract.

Reishi contains triterpenes (including ganoderic acids) and beta-glucan polysaccharides. These two compound families are extracted differently: triterpenes are alcohol-soluble, polysaccharides are water-soluble. This is why dual extraction is mentioned so often with reishi — a water-only extract captures one group and largely misses the other.

Choosing a format

Liquid drops are the most traditional-adjacent format. Reishi Mushroom Drops deliver a four-mushroom complex, stevia-sweetened with no added sugar, taken directly or mixed into a drink.

Gummies suit an evening routine. Reishi Mushroom Gummies are blackberry-flavoured and pair reishi with L-theanine, lemon balm and valerian root.

Multi-mushroom blends include reishi alongside other functional species — Mushroom Complex 10X, Mushroom Extract Complex gummies, and Adaptogen Mushroom Drops all contain it.
